Farewell, Razor

RIP, Razor Magazine. If you don't already know, Razor is -- to paraphrase Gawker -- shutting down (The Corsair lowers his tricorn Pirate hate). That's the magazine business, folks. Alas, and with a healthy 200,000 circulation too; it was not enough, however. We will miss the column (Or, as we like to call it, the "paid primal scream therapy") and, of course, the comfy Contributing Editor gig wherein The Corsair gets story assignments for his pals.

And with that (some rich, modern melancholy Spanish guitar), The Corsair once again joins the bulging New York freelance writer ranks. So, if any of you editors out there who read this blog are feeling in a "pitchy" mood -- after September 11th, of course, when all the book proposal mess is out of the way, feel free to email The Corsair at papermag@yahoo.com.

Basta!
