A Little Of The Old In And Out

cheers! (image via thehollywoodreporter)

In: 30 Rock. NBC is renewing 30 Rock. All is good in the world tonight (except for those few, unfunny people who do not like this brilliant show). Though the show was put on cancellation watch, it was probably Tina Fey's ubiquitous "It" girliness that allowed the show to clear the hurdle of re-up.

Out: "Foolio." Why? Granted that in the dictionary, under the fraught word "ghetto," is Coolio. And festooning that unfortunate word is an image of him, furiously cleaning the Grammy he won in 1990 with some sort of goddam hand towel (Averted Gaze). According to the 3AM Girls, Mr. Ghetto has gotten into a verbal fight with the second woman on "Celebrity Big Brother" in the UK:

"It is not the first time Coolio has been warned about his behaviour.

"He has already been disciplined for his use of the 'N' word, and was also called in to the diary room on Tuesday night after he made Michelle Heaton cry for bullying her over her relationship with Ben Adams.

"The source added: 'Coolio is lucky to still be in there, there is a line contestants aren't supposed to cross and he is pushing it to the limit.'"

Coolio, not 911, is a joke. He is sort of the reverse Sarah Ferguson, not unlike the Reverse Flash. The Duitchess of York left Britian because her image and earning power became too tarnished, her soft power exhausted. "Collio," similarly, left America because no one else gave a fuck. While in Britain, Coolio has exhibited increasingly Flavor Flavish behavior; the sterotypical African-American thug with a predilection to violence.

And even though he is overseas, on another continent, file Coolio's boorish behavior under: Things-That-Need-To-Stop-Now-That-Obama-Is-Going-To-Be-President (Exaggerated cough suggecting feigned detachment).
